Marty Anderson hails from American Falls, Idaho but has made his home in Idaho Falls since 1998. In 1995 and 1998 respectively, Mr. Anderson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Idaho. Mr. Anderson also completed twenty-eight credits toward a Masters of Science degree in Public Lands Policy and Law. During law school he was active in Phi Alpha Delta and was a member of the Environmental Law Society. Marty received the 1997-1998 Board of Student Advocates Outstanding Trial Advocate Award and was a member of the Board of Student Advocates. While attending law school he worked for the Palouse Land Trust and completed a summer internship with the Idaho State Bar. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar and an Idaho Supreme Court approved family law mediator.
Marty and his wife, Kim, have two children. The Andersons focus their recreational interests on the outdoors. A native Idahoan, Marty is an avid hunter and fisherman and counts golfing, whitewater rafting, snowmobiling,horseback riding and camping among his favorite pastimes.
